Today’s cooking for tomorrow’s tastes

Flexitarianism, but also vegetarianism and veganism are on the rise. People are increasingly conscious about what they eat and want to cut back on animal products, including dairy, in an effort to live more sustainably. A growing number of people are also lactose intolerant.

Nurishh’s vision, “Today’s cooking for tomorrow’s tastes” reflects the brand commitment to supporting consumers in a positive and joyful food transition.
With its plant-based range, Nurishh® enables chefs and food service professionals to offer more balanced and tasty meals in the out-of-home market and respond to the increasing demand for dairy-free and plant-based alternatives.

The beginning of the Nurishh® story

Launched in 2020, Nurishh® is our plant-based range of delicious cheese alternative products. This dairy-free cheese range meets the expectations of consumers seeking food diversity. It also allows chefs and food service professionals to prepare delicious plant-based dishes that taste like more!

Originally developed in Saint-Nazaire, France, Nurishh® is now available in 14 countries across Europe, the Middle East and North America. And this is of course only the beginning of the story.

A plant-based cheese range that brings optimal performance to the professional kitchen

The Nurishh® range of top quality, plant-based cheese products bring many of the key qualities and functionality offered by dairy cheese to the professional kitchen. They deliver on great taste, texture and melting ability, giving you the freedom to make direct swaps for dairy cheese ingredients in classic dishes or the ability to create whole new dish sensations.

For example, the Nurishh® mozzarella flavour shreds are perfect for plant-based pizza, pies and gratin. They bring superior meltability, hold their shape and turn a delicious brown colour when cooked. The Nurishh® cheddar flavour shreds also bring these functional benefits, allowing you to prepare delicious tacos, mac & cheese or baked potatoes that look as good as they taste. The Nurishh® slices are ideal for tasty vegan burgers, quesadillas or hot and cold sandwiches.

The highly versatile Nurishh® Gran Vegiano is a delicious alternative to parmesan with its well-balanced salty taste and fine semolina texture. Perfect for plant-based pasta dishes, including lasagne, polenta dishes, creamy risotto and salads. It also helps to save on costs as approximately 25% less Nurishh® Gran Vegiano is needed to achieve the same great consistency vs regular dairy parmesan.

The Nurishh® Greek-style dices are a delicious replacement for Feta with a crumbly texture and delicious tangy taste. Ideal for hot and cold preparations including salads, savoury tarts, pies, quiche, baked dishes and stuffed breads.

Vegan certified, made with responsibly-sourced ingredients and enriched with calcium and Vitamin B12, the Nurishh® range is also lactose-free and contains no allergens.

I really like the Coeur fleuri from Nurishh®, it’s a better cheese and fits in the culinary part of my restaurant.”

Love your plate, love your planet

There’s a lot to love about Nurishh®, starting with our wide variety of delishh plant-based alternatives. And it gets even better, we have partnered with sustainability consultant Quantis to calculate the environmental of our plant-based alternatives at each stage of their lifecycle from ingredient sourcing to consumer consumption compared to dairy equivalents*.  The research shows that our plant-based alternatives generate 3 times less greenhouse gas emissions than the same quantity of dairy equivalents.

By choosing Nurishh®, you’re really doing your bit and you can rest assured that our plant-based alternatives are as good for the planet as they are for everyone’s taste buds.

*Based on peer-reviewed comparative lifecycle assessments conducted by Quantis in 2021 of Nurishh® Classic Slices compared with hard cheese Emmental-style slices, both sold in Europe.
