Ingredients
- 250 ml spring water
- 250 ml milk
- 200 g butter
- 10 g salt
- 2 g black pepper
- grated nutmeg
- 300 g flour
- 80 g Comté cheese
- 5 eggs
- 480 g Boursin® Professional Cuisine Garlic & Fine Herbs
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 160°C (Gas-oven, mark 5–6).
- Combine the water, milk, butter, salt, pepper and grated nutmeg in a sauce pan. Bring it to boil.
- Take it off the heat, add all the flour in one go, then put the pan back on the stove on high heat and dry out the mixture with a spatula. Add the grated Comté cheese and put the mixture into a mixing bowl.
- Mix the eggs into the mixture. Make sure it’s mixed evenly throughout. Empty the mixture into a pastry bag with a plain nozzle. Pipe the puffs out onto a sheet of baking paper. Bake them in the oven for 20 minutes. Once removed from the oven, allow the pastry puffs to slowly cool before placing on a platter and covering.
- Before serving, pipe Boursin® Professional Cuisine onto each pastry puff using a star-shaped nozzle.
