This simple yet refined avocado toast was created by the French 2 Michelin starred chef Jean-François Piège. The Kiri® Professional Cooking & Spreading enhances the creaminess of the avocado and the apples add some acidity to balance out the taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 55 g Kiri® Professional Cooking and Spreading
  • 1 lime juice and zest
  • 3 dr Tabasco® sauce
  • salt
  • 2 sprigs of chopped coriander
  • 4 sl wholemeal toast
  • 1 Granny Smith apple (julienned)
  • Espelette pepper
  • olive oil

Preparation

  1. Mash the avocado, mixing it with the Kiri® Professional.
  2. Season with the lime juice and zest, Tabasco® sauce, salt and sprigs of chopped coriander.
  3. Toast the bread.
  4. Spread the avocado puree on the toasted bread.
  5. Sprinkle the julienned Granny Smith apple on the avocado.
  6. Add the Espelette pepper and olive oil.
